I vehemently disagree. Tracking what the data is used for and what derivatives are made IS a restriction on its openness #rfringe16

'Tracking', by whatever means, implies a strict model of ownership that, to my mind, is antithetical to openness of education #rfringe16

Openness requires 'letting go' and, in some sense, relinguishing control (in the sense of possessive individualism (cf. @pennyb)) #rfringe16
