  1. I really enjoyed watching Weekend (1967): a nightmare vision of late capitalism in which everyone is a sociopathic, selfish, entitled dickhead obsessed with their cars and driving badly. Though it ends with the poor literally eating the rich, the poor are also dickheads.

      Unfortunately, the version @moananddrone and I watched went all weird at the end and we interpreted it as part of the surrealist imagery for like 7 minutes before getting suspicious.

      The cinematography and the style also gave shades of Bergman's Persona (1966) and Roy Andersson's 'Living trilogy'.
