    1. Watching Blade Runner: The Final Cut (2007) is only serving to remind me that I do not think Blade Runner is A Good Film.

    The worldbuilding is good. Like Jaws (1975), it's what is hinted at that is most effective: the stuff from Roy's speech, the class divide.

      But there are no interesting characters. I don't care about Deckard's 'nature' because I don't care about Deckard.

        Ford has nothing like as much subtlety or emotion in his performance as Gosling in the new one. Plus Deckard has that awful rape scene.
