  1. If there's one thing I can't stand it's library catalogues that display titles with a ' /' at the end. Marc has a lot to answer for.

      A '/' is not used anywhere outside libraries as a signifier for 'by'. It doesn't mean anything to a user. Just use 'by'.

        It's a tiny detail but to me it typifies library systems designed to preserve library practices rather than enhance user experience.
