      This is not edgy, innovative, interesting theatre. Go to an arts centre in a major city on a weeknight and you'll see more provocative stuff

    It's such an obvious and boring staging and yet the corporations and alt-right are acting as if it's the most transgressive theatre ever.

      How narrow is their artistic scope? How could they be so disconnected from actual contemporary theatre?

        This is a particular gripe I always have with Shakespeare. He's good but don't pretend that a new production is original or edgy.
