I waited a long time to finally see THE SUBSTANCE and was very excited for it. I think I hated it? Overlong, thematically incoherent, and mean-spirited in a way that really grated on me. Two excellent lead actors who the film consistently fails to make the best use of.Permalink On Internet Archive
