I know the idea of this stressed a lot of people out but I am disappointed that Ref 2029 won't mandate open access for monograph outputs. Also saying this with a big caveat around the efficacy of Ref as an exercise and the idea of promoting open access through "mandates" and "compliance". REF is always bad but there was the potential to use it for a end that is ultimately good.Permalink On Internet Archive
