Having watched FELLOWSHIP and TWO TOWERS Extended Editions in cinemas over the past month, I am more convinced than ever that those cuts are not suitable for theatrical showings and I am begging cinemas to use the Theatrical Versions for their repertory screenings. @tansyclipboard/1810859427966366142Permalink On Internet Archive

I've complained about this before and at this point I'm convinced that it's the distributor required these cuts of the films rather than the cinemas wanting them.
