Excited to see The Fellowship of the Ring at the cinema. I love all the The Lord of the Rings films but Fellowship is special. I haven't seen it in a cinema since 2001 when I saw it with some friends at the Printworks in Manchester and it fully rewrote my brain chemistry forever.

A shame it's not the Theatrical Release to fully take me back there but I'll take it.

What an experience. A boo from the audience at the very end when Harvey Weinstein's name appeared in the credits. ❤️

Now home and watching some selections from the Appendices which I don't think I've watched in about... oh god... two decades.

I'm not into marathons so I didn't continue into THE TWO TOWERS last week at Glasgow Film Theatre but fortunately Cineworld (the tallest cinema in the world) are showing it today! A week between LOTR films is just about perfect for me.

It's unfortunately the Extended Edition and I still won't stop being annoyed that these versions which have worse pacing than the Theatrical Versions are now considered definitive for repertory screenings.
