My secondary school had long, narrow concrete windowless corridors like this and they were used for what was called The Mixer: the bigger kids lined up, several against each wall, and when a smaller kid like me would walk by, they would push us from side to side. @MrDavidScales/1783529487822418337

Obviously the great thing about The Mixer is that a kid can't go around: they have to enter The Mixer to get through the narrow corridor even though they know what will happen. The lack of windows makes these corridors perfect for it since teachers couldn't see what was going on.
