Very much enjoying #TheWay's wyrd blend of Welsh folk horror and Adam Curtis's hauntological use of archive clips. Feels like a throwback to the kind of Weird political drama that the BBC used to make with Penda's Fen or The Stone Tapes.

Lot of "people" on here with long strings of random numbers as their surnames didn't seem to like it though.

Finished #TheWay now and I think it loses a lot when it zooms in to the family drama and away from the labour rights of the first episode. Ultimately it doesn't manage to tie its themes together, especially the more political and fantastical ones, particularly elegantly.

Still, I'm always happy to see TV drama and especially the BBC taking a big swing that misses rather than playing it safe. We need more big bold British political drama.
