  1. Discussions like this are why I think POOR THINGS is a great film but a bad adaptation. It loses the novel's clear throughline about authorship and men writing narratives on to women. By excluding the novel's crucial final section, the film never truly shows Bella's perspective. @guardiang2/1750211255275807086
