SALTBURN #LFF at @glasgowfilm: Full Reviews Per Minute review below but it's a fun film that is unfortunately hugely uneven and even inelegant in its climax. Never as successful at skewering the upper class as PROMISING YOUNG WOMAN's skewering of men. reviewsperminute.simonxix.com/posts/saltburn/

There's a nice gag about the vapidity of the upper class involving Harry Potter and the film's period setting of 2006-2007 but that subtlety gets lost almost immediately in favour of quite broad and less satirically incisive caricatures.

All that said, I had fun with it. Come for Barry Keoghan; stay for Rosamund Pike and Richard E. Grant.
