              1. I didn't enjoy even a minute of the Star Trek: Picard episodes I did watch but I hear the new season has a new showrunner and I do want to see Worf and I hear they're getting into Dominion War stuff now...

They did Worf so dirty in the TNG movies and even if I never watch the new Picard, I'm legit happy Michael Dorn gets to play him again. It seems like something he really wanted.

I started the new Picard. It's better than the first season. At least he sounds like the same character from TNG now. I still generally don't think that nuTrek is my cup of earl grey, hot.

Still frustrating when there are scenes like Picard setting up transport inhibitors and then two minutes later wondering why he can't be transported off the ship. Come on, man.

It's going to take me twice as long to watch Picard since I need to watch an episode of TNG after each Picard episode to cleanse my palette. Both TNG episodes I started before settling start with Picard saying the crew have been given some extra leisure time.

Well, they introduced Worf by having him straight-up murder an unarmed Ferengi so I'm not sure this is the honourable character they might have wanted to write. @SimonXIX/1632861699232395267

I stuck with the new season of Star Trek: Picard and I don't know if it was a mistake or what but the latest episode managed to be an exciting episode that expressed some sense of wonder, joy, and optimism at the idea of space exploration.

The alarm sound on the USS Titan-A is the same as the alarm sound on the USCSS Nostromo and I have to assume it's because the cultural significance of ALIEN lasts until the 25th century.

Back to #Picard. I hoped the Red Door might be to do with the Pah-wraiths but, alas, it's actually one of the most boring options it could have been.

#Picard finale: I can't stand nuTrek's galactic-level threats that makes the galaxy feel so small. "If Earth falls, the galaxy falls." What, why?! What about the rest of the Federation? The Klingon Empire? The remnants of the Romulans? The Dominion? Why wouldn't they fight it?
