Best Avanti journey in months. By which I mean the train there arrived six minutes late and the train home is only running five minutes late. That's what counts as a terrific service when you're using England's rail network.Permalink On Internet Archive

Avanti have done well the past two journeys from Scotland to England but it's time again to see whether or not Avanti West Coast (jointly owned by FirstGroup and Trenitalia) can run a train service on time. So far, an on-time departure with no issues forecast.Permalink On Internet Archive
