      Big fan of the Government's tacit admission that if HMRC make a mistake when marking down a 16-17 year old's gender (which I'd argue doesn't need to be in a tax system anyway), they are powerless to correct it.

    I don't think this is an issue but as a software developer if my employer forced me to implement this, I would design it thusly: Gender (Scotland): [dropdown menu] Gender (rUK): [dropdown menu] HMRC can have that one for free.
