  1. There was a phone-in on Jeremy Vine's BBC Radio 2 show the other day asking callers for "one idea" to fix the NHS. The majority of callers discussed more social care for children and the elderly. We urgently need a National Care Service to look after everyone in the UK.

      A National Care Service is something that James Foley and Ben Wray propose as something that could be proposed for an independent Scotland to make a strong case for a progressive sovereign Scotland. Anyone caring for someone would be given a living income as part of an NCS.
