  1. We're staying in a hotel that is in the process of changing hands from one hotel chain to another and we can see a skip full of old hotel signage from our window.

      The guy at reception called it a "shambles" and not only upgraded us to the biggest suite in the hotel (no-one else is staying here) but got us a free breakfast. This... isn't a shambles. It's all great actually.
