          1. A busy few days in the Highlands. Our first walk was in Glen Nevis passing through Nevis Gorge to the Steall Falls, the third highest waterfall in Scotland. "One of the best short walks in Scotland," raves @walkhighlands!

At the end of the route, the Glen Nevis Cable Bridge passes over the Water of Nevis. Our route didn't take us to the other side but we did make this little friend in a bog nearby.

Our travels then took us to Glenfinnan, Loch Shiel, and the Glenfinnan Viaduct, an incredible feat of engineering using poured concrete. We were lucky enough to see the steam train, The Jacobite, passing over.

This morning we visited Glencoe, the filming location for films like SKYFALL, HIGHLANDER, and MRS BROWN, and saw the @N_T_S turf and creel house recreating the housing of displaced Highland folk.
