    1. Two films seen at the @edfilmfest today. First, FLUX GOURMET, the latest from Peter Strickland and for me his best since THE DUKE OF BURGUNDY. A grotesquely weird and 'squelchy' film about a collective of chef-sound engineers at the Sonic Catering Institute. Delightfully unique.

    Next, MILLIE LIES LOW introduced by director Michelle Savill. A young woman has a panic attack on a life-changing flight and gets off the plane. Instead of coming clean to her friends, she pretends she made it to New York City. The most anxious film I've seen since UNCUT GEMS.
