Honest to god, their automated ID verification system couldn't verify my UK driving license as ID because it has my title on it (like all UK driving licenses?) and so they suggested inputting my first name in their app as 'Mr Simon' so it would match.Permalink On Internet Archive

Sidenote: Looked into UK driving licenses and found that they are (or at least used to be) very gendered with titles generally appearing on women's licenses and no titles generally on men's. Unclear when and how I got a title on mine. After I changed my name when we got married?Permalink On Internet Archive
