I don't know, maybe Alex Garland should stop making films about women for a little bit.

The last ten minutes literalise a lot of the subtext in a way that just undermines the whole thing. The film works best when it's spooky vibes and not full-on body horror. More spooky Rory Kinnear and less... what happens at the end.

For all my issues with the film, I at least enjoyed MEN's soundtrack when I was in the cinema but listening to it now on Spotify while I work, it's largely a less good version of the Bloodborne soundtrack.
