        It was so intensely quiet there, strangely denuded of birdsong unlike the nearby woods. We were surrounded by ominous graffiti like this one reading 'People don't leave' and there was the eerie sensation of being watched the whole time.

      There's a dark patch on the upper level here that, through my camera's viewfinder, I was certain was a person staring straight at me. There was nothing there when I looked with my own eyes.
