Terrific film and a lot more confident than BARKING DOGS. Like all the best artworks about violent murder (e.g. Twin Peaks), it expresses something about the utter inhumanity of murder and how it hollows out the people forced to look directly at this kind of violence every day.

Like ZODIAC, the lack of closure really makes this film. An incredibly bold second film.
