    Back on automating the integration of book metadata in Wikidata and I'm pleased that Wikidata models books using a simplified version of FRBR so that my former life as a librarian comes in handy but also they've reduced needless complexity. wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikiProject_Books

      Broadly speaking, Wikidata divides a book into a 'work' - the text in literary theory parlance - and an 'edition' - a particular manifestion of a publication of that text. One work can have many editions.
