We recently finished The Chair on Netflix and while we enjoyed it a lot and I vibed with it in a similar way to that described in @BeccaEHarrison's Sight & Sound review, I was left with reservations over how it treats students.

I couldn't decide if it's representation of students as perpetually unreasonable lefties was meant to reflect how senior management and faculties often view students or was just lazy writing. Oh's character gives a speech in the last episode that gestures to the former too late.

Anyway, good show and I look forward to The New Chair for more chair-based entertainment.
