I've dragged ANNETTE enough this week (anchor.fm/cinetopia/episodes/September-2021-on-EH-FM-Annette--Rose-Plays-Julie--Gagarine-and-The-Last-Forest-e17kik3) but this reminds me of how Cotillard's character was continually eating apples as another piece of symbolism that didn't actually go anywhere or contribute all that much to the film's themes. @helensulis/1441032323118637061
