Looked into this a little more and I think this is hugely overblown. Yes, it's a revision of the TOS for Audacity but all of these clauses are completely standard for software downloadable in the USA and Russia. These are not extraordinary nor unique to Audacity.Permalink On Internet Archive

Even if I'm wrong and versions above 3.0.0 start spyware-like processes, it's FOSS so previous versions are openly available. Just install one of those.On Internet Archive
