GitHub now does this by default for new repositories but if you've forked an old repository or not updated an old repository, it's worth spending the two minutes it takes on updating the language to avoid unnecessary references to slavery.On Internet Archive

Decolonisation work is as important in IT as in other areas of Higher Education. I think it's often forgotten perhaps because IT doesn't have the long colonialist and imperialist history of libraries and archives but there's lots of areas for progress within IT as a profession.Permalink On Internet Archive
