  1. This weekend I watched all the live-action short films nominated for the Oscar this year. They're all extraordinary films but WHITE EYE is the one that I simply can't get out of my head. A fantastic blend of technical achievement and emotional storytelling.

      You can watch all the shorts in a compilation at Curzon Home Cinema. I'd also recommend TWO DISTANT STRANGERS which is on Netflix now and is a really interesting use of the time-loop subgenre to discuss a social justice issue. homecinema.curzon.com/film/2021-oscar-nominated-short-films/
