  1. At a previous workplace, they used the Bradford Factor (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bradford_Factor) to automatically flag to managers when staff absences were a concern.       Bradford detects shorter but more frequent periods of absence so the way to 'game' it is to make sure to take longer sickness absences whenever you are sick i.e. take a few more days to recover than you ordinarily would.
