    1. DAGUERRÉOTYPES by Agnès Varda (currently on Mubi UK): a fascinating and thoroughly charming little documentary about the street in Paris where Varda lived in the '70s and the stories of the people who work there. Utterly charming. Can't believe it's my first Varda.

    Definitely something of Walter Benjamin's Arcades Project in its focus on ordinary people and ordinary retail as a lens for universal truths.
