  1. The Mandalorian continues to be entertaining and watchable but I wish it were doing something bolder than scavenging tropes and iconography that we've already seen.

        Tatooine is emblematic for me of the Star Wars franchise's worst nostalgic impulses. It's notable that the best films in the franchise happen to be those which do not feature Tatooine.
