        1. Watched BBC's GHOSTWATCH for the first time. I found it absolutely terrifying and I knew the conceit going in. If you watched it 'live' not knowing it was fiction, I could only imagine the psychic scarring on a person.

        The sheer Britishness of the whole thing reminded me of Alan Resnick's work and the essential banal Americanness of his horror.

      Watched this as part of listening along to @NoChorus' daily podcast series for this month on found footage films. One of the best film podcasters and the best voice on online culture.

    Still thinking about GHOSTWATCH. I might have to track down this behind-the-scenes documentary about it from 2012, GHOSTWATCH: BEHIND THE CURTAINS.

      Genuinely loved it. The only marr that momentarily took me out of it while watching it is the transphobia of linking Pipes' mental instability to dressing in women's clothing. Doesn't excuse it but nowadays you hear worse transphobia on BBC breakfast TV.
