Disappointed to have bought the UK version of The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton and therefore to be missing out on the extra half-death of the US version.

I didn't know the premise of this novel going in, just that it was a twist on the Christie-esque murder mystery novel, but it's just kicked in and, without spoiling it, it is so up my street.

Loved it. Right up until reading the acknowledgements when I read that it went through a "David Lynch phase" where presumably it was a lot more dream-like and obscure. I want to read that version.
