      Big INLAND EMPIRE energy from this in that it feels like a venerable director getting a load of people together to improvise and dick around in front of a cheap camera.

        Not essential Herzog by any means but interesting. It's got a kind of CLOSE-UP vibe in it's troubling of the boundaries between drama and documentary but unlike Kiarostami's film, it doesn't fully explore that metatextuality.
