It's taken a while and a lot of conscious engagement but my reading stats for author gender on LibraryThing are at a point where I'm not openly ashamed of the disparity. Adjusting my reading to consciously focus on women authors has been a very good thing for my reading practice.On Internet Archive

A few years ago, the extent to which it was embarrassingly dominated by men authors was shocking. I've been trying to actively read women authors more for the past few years and it's been very beneficial.Permalink On Internet Archive
