I'm just so disappointed that, between Baby Yoda in THE MANDALORIAN and what happens in THE RISE OF SKYWALKER, Star Wars has decided to lean in to the idea of power being passed on through species or through bloodline. Even midi-chlorians weren't quite so explicitly gross.On Internet Archive
