Listening to The Indelicates' 2017 album, Juniverbrecher. I still think it's one of the best depictions of English malaise and 1970s hauntology (in the sense used by Mark Fisher) following the Savile revelations and the collapse of Boomers' light entertainment childhood memories.

I don't think England ever dealt with the implosion of national identity that Savile and Yewtree caused. An entire generation's childhood memories of light entertainment tainted, defiled, and erased. An identity destroyed by lies and cover-ups. Maybe we're dealing with it now?
