Seeing all the news and new projects coming out of D23, I can't help but feel that Disney is over-reaching itself with a slew of ambitious projects (mostly TV series) to compensate for entering a fallow period for its big properties.Permalink On Internet Archive

Both their big Marvel and Star Wars franchises are ending monolithic (and market-dominating) arcs this year; their live-action / photorealistic CGI remakes have done the big titles; Disney's theme parks have underperformed this year and there's some ongoing drama there.Permalink On Internet Archive
