Re. that last retweet about community and forgiveness: I've found that we're particularly bad about this in librarianship. We're bad at having discussions that involve earnest apologies and subsequent acknowledgement / acceptance of those apologies.Permalink On Internet Archive

I'm coming at this as someone who has made mistakes and apologised for them directly to the person hurt only to receive no acknowledgement or reply. Not having a culture of apology and growth prevents the building of a healthy community.On Internet Archive
