Annoyingly, after a few days of using the Ubuntu hard drive, the Windows 10 hard drive now fails to boot. The only changes to the laptop were a new battery (shouldn't affect booting) and updating Ubuntu to 18.04. Discovering anew that my BIOS on this laptop is all screwed up. I'm unable to enter the BIOS menu to re-enable UEFI Secure Boot or even to enter the boot menu to boot off a USB stick. I suspect I might have to reflash the BIOS.On Internet Archive
