I watched First Man (2018) last night and I'm generally not terribly into biopics but I liked the focus on the experience of a person in a spacecraft held together with rivets and tape and what it might actually be like to be in that position.

A lot of the immersiveness in those scenes comes down to excellent sound design of juddering capsules and screws barely holding craft together. There's also a great soundtrack by Justin Hurwitz featuring good use of the theremin (apparently because Armstrong loved the theremin).
