      1. Lately I've been working on a lightweight web application to allow users to suggest additions to Marc records. The intent is to use this to crowdsource cataloguing enhancements for non-English records from native speakers of other languages who can contribute their expertise.

      The full code is available open-source (MIT License) on GitHub and is built on top of our library systems APIs for Marc data retrieval (OLE's Docstore API and OLE's Apache Solr API) github.com/soas-library/crowdsourced_cataloguing_app

    It's currently set to retrieve Urdu records for cataloguing enhancement but the application is able to be set to whatever language the user chooses by changing a configuration variable.
