  1. Lots of people laughing at the last line of the Wikipedia summary of Yesterday (2019) today. I'm more confused by the film's narrative resolution and how The Beatles, strict enforcers of their copyright, signed off on that with any degree of self-awareness.

      I'm not sure how you reconcile the ending of the film and its fictional universe — that these songs are so valuable to culture that they should be made free and available — with The Beatles' actual practice in this universe over the last 60 years.
