    1. #OpenRepo2019 The UK's Centre for Environmental Data Analysis is looking at 'closed' permissive licenses to address flaws with trad. CC licenses. They need more control over canon versions of datasets and ideally want one authoritative source of a dataset.

    #OpenRepo2019 These are the Closed-Use General License (artefacts.ceda.ac.uk/licences/ceda_cugl_v1.pdf) and the Closed-Use Non-Commercial General License (artefacts.ceda.ac.uk/licences/ceda_cuncgl_v1.pdf). They retain the 'best' parts of the CC licenses but are more restrictive to encourage one true source of data.
