    @MontagueCook Like I say, there were some great parts including Toni Collette's whole performance and the little girl's whole thing. Overall it just left me cold and frustrated.

      @MontagueCook I think The Babadook does something superficially similar (family drama pivoted into supernatural horror) but it does it with so much more economy and subtlety.
