  1. This morning, I was rudely awoken at 0600 when Leon found a mouse in the kitchen, brought it to us in the bedroom as a gift, and then promptly lost it in the bedroom.

      I saw him place it on my slippers before it ran away so that's a good reminder to compulsively check my slippers before I put them on for the rest of time.
