Ooofa doofa, this establishing shot of objects floating in low-gravity is super-early CG and it is not good.
-
Although this was made four years after Jurassic Park (1993) and that still looks great. Maybe this is just bad CG.
-
Ooo, hello to Jason Isaacs.

Sam Neill has been woken from cryo-sleep early which reminds me of Passengers (2016) and how funny @helensulis and I found it when Laurence Fishburne said he had 600 or so simultaneous diseases.
-
An interesting cut there from one scene of Sam Neill lecturing the crew to another scene of Sam Neill lecturing the crew in a different room. Maybe could have condensed those in the screenplay.

The ship's log for the Event Horizon is on a CD-R. I look forward to physical media coming back into fashion sometime before 2047.
-
For a film that they cut 40 minutes of content from to make the final cut, there sure is a lot of unnecessary slow-mo.

I often mix up Paul W. S. Anderson (director of Event Horizon) with Paul Thomas Anderson and I need to remember that these are two very different directors.
