While I'm out here openly preferring the standalone Star Wars films to the sequel trilogy films, I also wish that Lucasfilm would follow through properly and produce a Star Wars film that does not have a single lightsaber in it.Permalink On Internet Archive

I remember a quote from someone working on Rogue One to the effect that it was about Star Wars characters who have been 'abandoned' by the Jedi and who can't rely on Jedi to turn up to save them. I want to see that kind of hopelessness.Permalink On Internet Archive
